Daddy-Daughter Date

On Saturday Scott took Katelyn on a date to see Beauty & The Beast @ Hale Theatre.

Katelyn was so excited to see the show. Last minute we were lucky to find a dress to borrow and they were off to the show.

Katelyn saw her friend Melanie & her 2 cousins there too. What a fun treat!

The highlights of the play for Katelyn were the dancing of the Beast & Beauty and the wolves chasing Beauty (actually that part made her a little nervous ;)

Katelyn wanted to pose in front of the Rose but was so careful not to get in the way and cover it up.

Katelyn has so much fun with her Daddy & I love that he took her out for such a special treat.

Cinderella

Today started out pretty hectic.

Tired from a long night with Mack, ants in the kids bedroom, broken hair sink and clients coming that afternoon.

But then I was able to snap out of it thanks to some encouraging words from Scott and enjoy a wonderful date with Katelyn.

We dropped Mack off at my parents 1st. Thanks Mom that was a HUGE help!

Then we were off. Katelyn was so excited to get all dressed up and the whole car ride there she was smiling ear to ear.

Katelyn was so excited to hold her ticket and then felt so cool in her own seat.

During intermission she danced on the stage floor with the other kids.

After the show Katelyn got to meet the Prince, I think she might of had a little crush :)

And of course the beautiful Cinderella.

(yes, I know she looks a little more like Belle)

On Saturday I am taking Katelyn on a Mommy Daughter date to see Cinderella at Hale Theatre.

I just told her and she is soooo excited!

Last week Katelyn was invited to go on a date with Uncle Brig & Aunt Emily

She was sooo excited because she was going to see Tangled which she had been asking to see every since it came out.

Some other festivities that took place were light saber fighting, dilly bar eating,

And popcorn popping.

Katelyn had a lot of fun on her date.

The Look Of.....

A gal that gets to go on a date tonight.

Yes, that's right, It's Thursday & I get to go on a date.

Wow did this week fly by fast!

We have a very busy weekend starting tomorrow so Scott & I are going out tonight.

Our 5 yr anniversary in next week and it's tradition that we always go the Temple to help celebrate, just like on that very special day many years ago.

Then to top it off we are going out for dinner.

Thanks to a gift card from Grandma Ray, A $5 anniversary coupon, and Babysitters thanks for Grandpa & Grandma Nicoll.

Last Day of 2010

Mack started out today with his favorite cereal

(this kids cracks me up!)

and Bailey was sleeping a little too close under his chair :)

Scott & the kids braved the cold weather and bundled up to play outside because Mack was begging & pleading.

Under 50' in Mesa AZ is just wrong.

Scott & I went on a double date

(I scored a ton of hand-me-down clothes today! Thus a new wardrobe)

with our good friends Shane & Anamine.

Grandma Ray babysat the kiddos and we did sparklers when we came back to pick them up.

The kids ended the day jumping on the beds.

Now the kids are off to bed & Scott & I will try to stay awake watching movies until 12:00 to watch the ball drop :)

Happy New Year!

To Blythe & Back

Scott & I went on a little road trip on Thursday to Blythe, California. We took on a small job to pick up some cabinets.

We took the company van + gas card + a gift card for drinks

= 5 hours of the open road and just the two of us

We crossed the border.....

Picked up what we came for & made some sandwiches in the parking lot.....

and 20 minutes later crossed again back into AZ.

Scott drove the whole way & we kept each other occupied by just acting stupid :)

We also took in all the AMAZING scenery ;)

And then made it back home.

Yep we even missed the snow, can you believe it?!?!?

At least Katleyn & Mack got to see it from Grandma & Grandpa Nicoll's house.

Date Night: Pogo-Sticks & Pizza

Date Night at home with Cami & Ammon.

It went a little something like this.

I have to admit, Ammon had better technique (sorry Babe, but I still love the tongue action you got going on)

Katelyn had fun getting her hands dirty

Then, making Pizza blindfolded.

The main purpose of this game was to communicate with your spouse.

Scott was a goof ball & I was impatient:) But we still had fun, even though Scott kept on trying to stuff pepperoni's in my face- gross!

Mack had fun playing in the dough

& Katelyn helped out by eating ingredients.

Pretty much I think Cami & Ammon won. I have never seen a couple more calm

(it's because they are newlyweds :)

Then, onto the real FUN.

Then, back inside to eat our yummy pizza and brownies & ice cream for dessert.
