Like Christmas around here.
We started out by listening to a message from Santa to Katelyn.
It was hilarious watching her get all shy & then this is the part where Santa is telling her she needs to try a little harder to be a good girl. Yep, she knows she needs to work on those temper tantrums before Santa will bring her some presents:)

I started decorating around the house the day after Thanksgiving. Oh it's just so much fun!
Scott did all the lights outside & I did the inside of the home.
Here is the kids room. Yes, they got their own tree in their room- Lucky Kids!

The kids love their tree. Katelyn did most of the decorating all by herself. She would go in her room, shut the door and spend a good 30 min or so decorating.

I like the tree topper we made:)

Just wanted to throw these in here. These are the names I made for the kids a while back. I don't think I ever posted them.

I received my book in the mail the other day that i made for the kids. I was going to give it to the kids for christmas but apparently "Santa" forgot and gave it to them early.
Katelyn Says
When I was setting up the tree with the tree skirt.
Katelyn asked, "what's that" I told her it was a tree skirt. Then she replied. "Oh, It's girl tree".
Katelyn has ben having trouble sleeping and one night Scott put in a movie and they cuddled in the recliner. After a few minutes Katelyn kinda frantically said. "Dad! My eye's won't work!"
Scott looked down and she was trying to keep her eyes open, but she was so tried she couldn't keep her eyes from fluttering shut. Well it was like 3:00 in the morning. Cute!
