Daddy-Daughter Date

On Saturday Scott took Katelyn on a date to see Beauty & The Beast @ Hale Theatre.
Katelyn was so excited to see the show. Last minute we were lucky to find a dress to borrow and they were off to the show.
Katelyn saw her friend Melanie & her 2 cousins there too. What a fun treat!
The highlights of the play for Katelyn were the dancing of the Beast & Beauty and the wolves chasing Beauty (actually that part made her a little nervous ;)
Katelyn wanted to pose in front of the Rose but was so careful not to get in the way and cover it up.
(she looks like a Hunchback:)
Katelyn has so much fun with her Daddy & I love that he took her out for such a special treat.

Scott's Birthday

Scott's Turned the BIG 28!
Our celebration began Saturday night. After the Relief Society broadcast (which was AWESOME! I LOVE president Uchtdorf's talk) & I loved being there with my Mommy & Sister. Love you guys!

The kids spent the night with Cami & Ammon- THANK YOU!!!!
Scott & I went to dinner @ Monti's in Tempe and watched movies, then worked on my RS talk for that next day (procrastinator i know) It worked out because our next door neighbors decided to blast music till 2:00am! Around 1:00 I had finally had enough! I peaked over the fence and asked them to turn it down (that lasted 1 song and then was back up again) I am not sure why i am so patient. They usually party accross the street & I have called the cops 3 times. because the kids all the the streets (elementary school age- seriously) and blast music till the wee hours int he morning. 1 time it didn't stop till 3:00am. Does anyone know what the "official bed time" is by law?

ok back to birthday stuff

Cami & Ammon brought the kids home in the morning. We had a little pastry breakfast, sang Happy birthday and opened presents
Look at what Cami & Ammon helped Katelyn & Mack make.
Love it!
The kids were just as excited for the new shirts, belt & flip flops:)
Katelyn wanted a picture with Daddy by the balloons they blew up with Cami & Ammon to decorate. she even drew faces on them for each one of us.
Early morning family pic
We made it to church a little early with our family to watch Katelyn in the primary program. Grandma Ray, Grandma & Grandpa Nicoll, Uncle Caleb, Jacob & Landon came to watch. Thanks for coming!!!!

Katelyn did a great job singing and on her part (she had in memorized but of course had help from her amazing teach Sister Nielsen aka Aunt Cami).

For Dinner I made Scott's favorite. Ck Parmesan and I attemped a guac-a-toni from Oregano's, or a (guac-a-mommy is what we call it now). I need to know the herb they use though. either basil or Italian parsley it would make all the difference.
We invited Friends over for some more birthday fun!
Thank you everyone for coming!!!
We always love Shane's gifts. it was pirate themed this year and Katelyn couldn't wait to start playing :)
The highlight of the night was for sure the boys playing twister.
Hilarious!
Then of course the kids wanted in on it too.
I love you so much Scott & I hope you had such a special day.
The kids & I had so much fun celebrating with you
XOXO

Is Summer Break Over Yet?

Don't get me wrong, this summer has been great.
It seems there has been project after project, the good and the bad.
But seriously I am barely keeping my head on.

And now preparing for back to school has gotten me exhausted.
But I cant complain, it's been a blessing!
Friday I had 22 clients back to back, Saturday was jam packed too, then today I hit 24 haircuts back to back and don't even get me started on tomorrow's schedule.

I can't thank my parents enough for helping me through Cosmetology school.
And Scott for helping me run this crazy business.
It has been a major love/passion and blessing in my life.
I Love all my clients and all the referrals they send my way.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!!

In other news....
Here is the latest on the master shower.
Scott has completed all his work and now the tiling is about to begin.
Yay!

Here is a view from the outside....
And a little closer.....
and now the inside.
I LOVE the bench Scott built!

Love, Your Friend was this weekend.
It was our Talent Show and boy, did we have a lot of talents this year.
Here is Scott's talent.
We were given a ventriloquist doll by my family and we put it to good use.
(and Mack was his assistant, because he didn't want to leave Scott side all night :)
Check out the rest of the talents HERE!

This past Sunday, it just seemed special.
It was a peaceful feeling all day & I loved it!

And to top that off we even made Cookie bars for Jacob's birthday get together that night.
My 2 little helpers anxiously waited for their samples and giggled the whole way through keeping me plenty entertained!
YUM!

I think what has made me most happy lately is this amazing man!
I am so appreciative to Scott in so many ways.
He has been my Superman!
I love him from his freshly showered goofy hair....
& his beautiful eyes.....
All the way down to his toes.
(napping in his freshly shined shoes before church)
I Love You Scott!

While this summer hectically comes to an end and the lists of projects become never ending, I feel so grateful for my blessings and for my family that are always by my side.

"The Rubber Dam"

Scott & I spent all morning at the Dental School. It was final exam day and Scott & I were patients.
We have had tons of free work done and are so grateful that Uncle Brian was able to hook us up and get all this done.

So the Rubber Dam is the most uncomfortable thing ever! Well, almost as uncomfortable as the bite guards. NEVER use a bite guard! I made that mistake on another visit.

Anyways doesn't Scott look sexy!
Too bad he didn't get a pic of me. Haha!

Next week I get my last wisdom tooth pulled. If you need me I will b on the couch watching movies and sipping on smoothies:)

My Graduate!

Well, he did it ! & he did it with Honors.
I am so proud of my husband for his accomplishments!
Looking for us in the stands
Hey, he found us :)
The big moment
and I was cheering so much that I missed the hand off.
The kids watched their daddy excitedly and did great during the whole ceremony
Officially an ASU Graduate!
He is just too cute!
A first kiss
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!
You are such a great example to your children
A proud Brother & Mama!
Future Devils
After the ceremony we went to Red Robin (I decided I am not a fan, my ck was rubber)
Then the kids napped and Scott & I worked on the backyard.
In the evening we held a celebration to honor Scott. Yummy pork BBQ with all the fixings. Awesome!
And of course ended the party with Croquet.
I Love you Babe and I'm SO proud of you.

Scott graduated with am accounting degree and will now start his Masters in Accounting program and graduate in May 2012.

Oh what a party next year will bring :)

Blood? Nope, Red Vines

Last night Mack walked out of his room and Scott went to put him back in bed. Scott noticed his sheets were covered in red liquid. I'm sure he freaked and ran to the light to check on Mack's chin and called me in.
Luckily his chin was untouched, but the poor little guy had thrown up everywhere
(It was red because he had been snacking on Red Vines & watching the basketball game with his Daddy before bed).
Mack wanted his Daddy to hold him the entire time we cleaned him up, then we brought him into bed with us & he cuddled with Scott. Then about 30 min later Katelyn joined us & we tag teamed, I took Mack & Scott took Katelyn.

One big happy family + 1 bed = no sleep & sore necks.

*****************************

Mack thinks his Daddy is just great and they are best friends.
The other day Mack & Scott ran through the sprinklers & Mack thought it was so fun to get his hair wet just like his Daddy.
