~A Tribute To Lady~

I have come to terms w/ the fact that we will never see Lady again.

So I wanted to share Lady's story w/ you.

We received Lady from a friend in September when Lady was only 2 months old.

This is her 1st picture taken when i was driving home w/ her.

Scott was officially the one to name her & I love the name he chose.

"Lady & The Tramp" was my favorite movie growing up.

Here is Lady's 1st bath & blow dry. 

I loved how soft & fluffy her fur would be afterward.

When Lady was a puppy this was her favorite ball to play with.

Scott had his weekly wresting matches w/ Lady.

Then we decided that Lady needed a friend, so we bought Bailey. This was their 1st picture together.

.....And they were inseparable ever since that day.

Lady's 1st buzz. she looked so cute!

Lady & Bailey loved to spend their days wresting & lounging in the sun.

They loved exploring and escaping out of the yard, so we tried to take them on as many walks as we could.

 

But even that wasn't enough. We built this large kennel to keep then in when we were not home & they escaped several times still. 

We joked that Lady was the brains of the operation- She would tell Bailey where to bust out & once that was done Lady would lead the way & they would roam the neighborhood. This took place at least once a day, so this is what caused a lot off our frustration.

 

This is the last picture take of Lady two days before she was lost.

I'm so glad we took this opportunity to take both dogs to the park & spend some quality time together. 

Our 1st Christmas together.

This is our only family picture together & it's priceless.

But I don't think anyone will miss you as much as Bailey.

It has been very hard on her.

Lady will always remain in our hearts and I hope she is safe & with a good family now.

~Lady's Search Continues~

This is heartbreaking!

I went to the pound yesterday (my brother had gone the 1st time for me). It was the saddest place I had ever been. I could barely compose myself while I was searching up & down the rows, and the moment I stepped outside I burst into tears.

Today i searched the neighborhood again w/ pictures of Lady, & my wonderful family come over w/ flyers to pass out door to door. I also checked the Pets 911 website,

I don't know what else to do other than check the pound every other day, & pray that someone finds her and calls me.

Other than our Lady situation, everyone else is doing well. 

I have had lots of hair clients the past couple days & another tomorrow- Lovin that!

Scott rode his bike to work today and his rear end is now in pain.

Katelyn officially turned 18 months on the 6th- such a big girl now.

~Missing Dog~

Our Dear Sweet Lady is LOST.

I left this morning for the gym @ 8:15. The dogs were locked up in their kennel and all was well.
Scott came home for his break @ 9:30 and they had broken out. Scott drove around the neighborhood and he found Bailey, however Lady was nowhere in site. This is very strange because they have broken out dozens of times and they have never separated- they are seriously joined at the hip.
I am so worried! I have talked to several neighbors and checked the entire neighborhood & no one has seen her. She has on her dog collar (actually Bailey's tag's- long story), and my cell # is on there, so if someone has her i don't understand why they haven't called me.

Please say a prayer for Lady. I hope she is safe & we find her soon.

My Girls-Eat... Sleep....Bath.....Play.....

Katelyn is starting to munch on "real people" food. She can't decide which she likes better.....Carrot or cookie. She literally goes back & forth, taking a suck from the carrot, then a suck from the cookie- it's pretty fun to watch.


I just had to get this picture- they are so cute together!

Today we had a very fun bath! Mommy played with Katelyn's hair. Are these just the most gorgeous eyes you have ever seen- So Cute!
After bath time Katelyn took a nap then woke up in such a great mood and wanted to play. She likes talking to her toys, it's adorable!

All in a day for all my girls!

FROST....

I don't think our little ballerina pengiun(Lady's chew toy) is going to make it- it was taken by the frost this morning. Lady had to check her vitals herself.

To make it all worse- Today is irrigation day. Irrigation & dogs to not mesh- i can seriously say it's my least favorite day of the month. (Even if it does make my lawn green).

Lady Is Now W/out.....

Today Lady was spayed! Thank goodness we didn't have to deal w/ a "period" before we had it done. Which brings me to a thought......Is it called a "period" in the animal world too?

Anyways..... She is so sad looking , I feel so bad for her. My poor Lady!
