A Katelyn Memory:
Today I was doing some laundry and Katelyn excitedly came in to me with something behind her back. She said, "Mom, I have something for you" she said this in a song like voice. Then, she showed me a bouquet of silk flowers and said "these are for you Mom" It really just melted my heart.
What Mommy/woman doesn't like flowers :)
Scott's moment with Katelyn:
Tonight Katelyn told me that she was afraid to go to bed because the room was dark. I told her when she feels scared she can ask Jesus to help her feel safe and happy. So...after she was in bed for about 5 minutes, she came out to inform me that she had felt scared, asked Jesus to help her, and he did. Sweet moment.
A Mack Memory:
I am still working on weening Mack from nursing. I am usually only nursing 1-2 times a day.
Today, I had already nursed Mack 2 times, which I've kinda said was my absolute limit. It was around 6:00pm, Scott was in the office studying, Katelyn & cousin Taylor were in the backyard playing, I was STILL doing loads of laundry, when all of the sudden I hear Mack crying.
The family room was pitch dark and there was Mack, hanging onto the "nursing chair" with one hand and holding onto the t.v. remote in the other hand & pointing in my direction.
I laughed & gave in. This kid just can't get over the comfort it brings him.
(I'm still nursing him when he wants it, but i really try to limit it to 1-2 times max. Hopefully he "grows" out of it soon)
