Work Day @ The Ranch

Saturday we went up north to the ranch to clear some fences.

We left our home to go to my parents @ 5:15am

Arrived @ 9:00am and got to work. We started our burning, but the wind was soooo strong the fire got away from us and everyone scrambled to put it out. It took a while, but I guess at least it got rid of a lot of the dead grass. (camera was not out yet, bummer)

Everyone stopped for lunch

We played on the quad

and then we headed farther out to work on more fences. This time the torch was left behind and we just threw all the tumble weeds over the fence.

Mack had a fever and was struggling to go to sleep. We took turns holding him in the car, poor guy was miserable.

On the way home we stopped in the snow.

And then another adventure.

We got stuck!

After a lot of digging, searching for rocks, pushing, pulling & weighing down we finally got out.

Wow, what a mark we made.

The mud was sooo mushy!

And now we are back.

and little red, a little sore & very tired.
